Insurance, you know, in case we get turned into our costumes again.

I'm on a mailing list for Halloween costumes. There are all sorts, but I've never thought of going as Twister. Maybe there is a twenty-sided dice costume out there. Better yet, why not go as a monster from one of the Munchking cards? Xander playing it safe for Halloween.

Oh, post-holiday clearance. The cornerstone of retail.

The bamboo grows like vinegar on my salad flying upward to forgive her. How are you celebrating this week? Celebrating what? You could start with Bamboo Day, or Vinegar Day, then Poet's Day and Southern Hemisphere Hoodie Hoo Day. Be An Angel Day sounds like a great day to dress up in wings. National! Punctuation! Day! could be fun on paper. Kiss and Make-up Day sounds tiring. So all us gals should go out on Women's Equality Day. Perhaps you would rather celebrate days of taste. If all of these days were true capitalist holidays, then Anya would be on speed.

Mr. Snuffleupagus

His character has not been matched. Perhaps I loved him because I could never think of a good imaginary friend for myself. Or because he looked like a hug waiting to happen. His first name is Aloysius ( I *really* love that name). Supposedly they have brought him out recently. I'm not sure how I feel about that. Everyone called his best friend a liar, and I can relate to that. But now it feels like part of his mystery is lost. I actually wanted to call him Gus.

I want to spend a day getting lost here. Especially the 'Articles Needing Attention' page, Section H. I recently caught an episode with Natalie Portman where she sang a cute little song with Elmo. Yes, she sang and actually has a nice voice. I'm really sad I missed the episode with the elephant.

These cops are really gettin' hell mouth.

It's late at night. You're driving alone. On a country road. Lights appear behind you. What do you do? Below are some good links for how to act when you are pulled over. The two most important things to know: call in a badge number if you are alone and do not allow your car to be searched without a warrant. http://www.snopes.com/horrors/mayhem/fakecop.asp http://www.flexyourrights.org/traffic_stop_scenario#?q=scenario/trafficstop.html http://www.atg.wa.gov/teenconsumer/transportation/being_pulled_over.htm http://www.iglou.com/cintipd/trafficstop.htm http://www.nolo.com/resource.cfm/catID/CF015A63-6B69-4EED-A34B6F4035C8BE0E/104/263/ The Potentials vs The Hell Mouth

Powders, pills, syringe?

Oh yes, today will be a good day. Despite the wonderful rain last night, the heat will rise again today. With all of the breeziness, damn allergens still get stuck up my nose and come out in an explosive erruption when I sneeze. I'm hungry. The possibility of me going to Wal-mart within the next 24hrs is increasing. My chocolate supply at home is running out. A vital software isn't working. But it will all be okay. Why? Because a quote from my favorite blogger is on Google.
People often write me and ask how I keep my wood floors so clean when I live with a child and a dog, and my answer is that I use a technique called Suffering From a Mental Illness. ~Heather Armstrong

The First Blog Movie Ever!

Last night I dreamed I went to the movies with a friend of mine. And the movie that we saw was one of the first ever blog movies. Based on the lives of VJ, Rezzie and I. Ike made the movie. The movie took place in the middle ages. There was a king and a queen and their three children. The oldest, a son, was kinda laid back, but the second oldest, their only daughter, was quite fiery and took to her job of future queen w/ a passion and kicked her brother into gear. There was a younger son, but we didn't see much of him. (The whole castle/middle ages theme was straight out of the Wheel of Time series. In fact, the oldest son shared something in common with the character Perrin from the books.) At one point there was a raid and all of the xiaolin warriors in training were on the way to the castle through the woods when they came across an old peddler. But really he was somewhat of a trickster and had a bunch of cloned soldiers growing in the mud around the xiaolin warriors. When this was discovered he began to dance around and do a bunch of tumbling tricks. Through out various points in the movie little message boxes would pop up saying "Hi VJ! Hi Col! Hi Rezzie!" When I saw one I started to squeal with laughter. The little girl sitting in front of me in the audience was all pissy b/c i tore off one of her fake butterfly wings. There were also a ton of ballons and streamers and confetti in the audience. It was a huge party because this blog movie and a blog movie that my husband made were up for Emmy's. But there was a sad part to the movie. At one point the evil woman in the movie set fire to the castle/compound, and Maximus was still in there. But Dulce went in and rescued him. During that scene, I heard VJ yell out "But he wasn't even done playing with his toys yet!"

I *heart* Excel

Not that one. (But remember, it can only be wisely used for evil.) I started using Excel today to make lists for Christmas and Halloween. You don't think it would be worth it? Ha! I have at least four worksheets going in each - and that's just with information off of the top of my head. I have a ton of lists in different places, but discovered that Excel could really help me put them all together. Oh, and they have christmas accessories and hardware for computers. I'm just sayin'.

With streamers... and songs.

I've been pondering getting an MP3 player. Would it suit my lifestyle? Would I really get that much use out of it. I have a short commute and listen to online radio stations most of the time. I've heard some bad things about the iPod's battery life, so I checked out Creative Technology's Zen line. Me likey. Does anyone have an opinion? Ahem? Drusilla knows how to party.
