SIMplify My Life: Gilly

Gilly loves to be energized! She hangs out by the espresso machine or works out most of the day.
That is, when she isn't playing with Farley. Rezzie has issues sleeping while they romp around the room. With all of his "accidents" Gilly tries to keep him as clean as possible.
He definitely keeps the house well guarded by continuously barking at anyone that knocks on the door.

SIMplify My Life: Jonny & Rezzie

Jonny and Rezzie, where to begin... They jam together, they talk about shoes together. It's been nothing but kisses and back rubs. They are making plans now to go to the beach.

SIMplify My Life: Svenny

This one is about Svenny. Svenny had some problems... First there was that incident in the kitchen. The roommates agreed that it was time to get some buffet tables while they all learned how to cook. Then, Svenny thought that he and Rezzie might be more than just friends. But her topics during conversation weren't that interesting to him. Svenny did find himself a job in politics; however, his potion making got out of hand and a cop came by to tell him that his potions could be smelled by the nearby school.

As for Jonny, well... he had a disagreement with Farley.

SIMplify My Life: To the Fair!

I felt like the Merry roommates could use a change of scenary. So I hired a balloon boat to take them to magic world. Rezzie and Svenny were the first ones aboard! Then Svenny and VJ ran over to ride the scary roller coaster. Rezzie tried to perform a trick with a mummy, but it didn't work out. So she hung out by the snack bar and let the riff raff admire her.

Who's a Little Fear Demon?

This Halloween weekend was a bit of a whirlwind, and yet, incredibly relaxing. Glenn and I spent most of Saturday in the computer room vegging. Friday night I worked on making buttons. Most of which still have yet to be installed. I also made some more Sims characters. Yes Ikey, you and David share a house. I also made an elderly couple. At one point the wife, Nymphadora, was making breakfast when the entire kitchen caught fire. She died. But, I brought her back to life.... She is currently learning how to cook. A lot. Image hosted by Photobucket.com Sunday I carved a pumpkin and made some colorful cupcakes for the party that afternoon. It was weird, but only ten people showed up. Oh well, more food and sugar for us!!! We also played some Apples 2 Apples. Image hosted by Photobucket.com I had forgotten how gooey the innards of pumpkins are. I put the seeds in the refridgerator so that I can cook them tonight. Hopefully they will taste wonderful! I also have cupcakes leftover, a HUGE BOWL OF CANDY and the best Halloween candy ever. When I emptied the bag of candy into my purple Halloween bowl, a plume of sugar wafted up to my nose. It was heavenly! Image hosted by Photobucket.com Image hosted by Photobucket.com

A Heathen's Wednesday Night

    Work's over.
    Go to wal-mart.
Go up and down crowded isles.
Go back and forth b/c you don't have a list.
(Even though you're just buying two dinners, you still forget a lot.)
    Stand over the pumpkins.
    Lament.
    Stand in line and pay.
Wish the cashier Happy Halloween, but she doesn't hear.
(The cashier the previous night did, and she had dyed magenta highlights.)
    Pile groceries into my car.
    Drive home through traffic.
    Pile everything inside.
    Unload from bags.
    Get into comfy clothes.
    Pull hair back.
    Start boiling water.
Realize cans for spaghetti sauce are not pop tops.
Cursed electric can-opener isn't going to work for you.
Even after beloved husband threatened it the previous night.
    Stop water from boiling.
    Put shoes back on.
    Go to the other wal-mart.
Walk through parking lot during which time the only word that you notice yourself muttering is the f-word.
Realize you should probably quiet down.
Grab a manual can-opener and some toilet paper.
    Get back home.
    Make spaghetti.
    Get incredibly full.
    Play Sims.
    Watch Batman Returns.
Get cheered up by beloved husband.
    Cuddle until you fall asleep.

My Sims Addiction

Because I just got my computer back, I had to feed my Sims addiction. I had already done all of my family and friends. Twice in fact, because when my computer died before, I had to redo everything. When I got it back this time, I wasn't ready to do everyone all over again. So, to feed my muse, I turned on a different set of friends. My blogging friends. I named them 'Merry' and named the house they live in the Playlot. Image hosted by Photobucket.com It's huge and has everything that they could need or want. There is even room to grow. Image hosted by Photobucket.com VJ Image hosted by Photobucket.com Svenny Image hosted by Photobucket.com Rezzie Image hosted by Photobucket.com Jonny Image hosted by Photobucket.com Gilly Image hosted by Photobucket.com Image hosted by Photobucket.com VJ will be the one to feed the fishes and get crafty around the house. Image hosted by Photobucket.com Her very good friend Rezzie is having some issues learning how to use the espresso machine. Image hosted by Photobucket.com But I'm sure that Jonny will get her on her Merry way in no time soon. Image hosted by Photobucket.com Svenny and Gilly are still talking about what they would like to do. Image hosted by Photobucket.com Until they decide, I think everyone will have a nice and relaxing time. With tea! More pictures to come as I play. I'll eventually post the house I made for Glenn and I. It took me an hour the other night, and that included landscaping too. Docdoc!

Even Though I Didn't Watch Garden State...

Although I did watch the Grudge, and continuously throughout it I had to stop myself from saying "Death is your gift." (You should see me during the Scooby Doo movies. I giggle maniacally to myself about the 'Scooby gang' and refer to all of the characters by BTVS names. It's sad. By the end I'm typically crying and yelling out to Joss, 'Need more Buffy!' Yeah....) So, anyways...I had a nice relaxing weekend and am currently eating Cheetos. Hey check that out! My keyboard is turning orange. A trip to Wal-mart, a birthday party, a little Sims and Stronghold. Heck, I even started crocheting. I think it is a blanket. Yes, yes...a blanket. As soon as I get Corel loaded I'll be able to start working on some projects. Perhaps even preparing for NaNo. (I should give up now, I'd find much better work as a Muse or an Editor.) It's nice to be online at home ^.^ Pictures to be coming soon. That is all.

Flicks From My Life for Friday

One day while my grandmother was pushing me in a stroller, we passed by an old man who looked really down. I saw him, smiled, and said 'Hi!' He stopped. Looked at me. Then said, 'Lady, she just made my day.' (This was not last week in case you were wondering.)
Look at cloud shapes in the sky. I never really did that as a child. It would typically be late at night, and I would look up at the stars, making sure that they were all I could see, then freak out because I thought I was falling into them. Pretty sure I screamed and yanked on the grass next to me.

Fireworks
boom
covered
in
dust

Why do I always feel 35.6% better as soon as I get to the doctor's office? Is it just the stress of being sick and the anticipation of finding out what is actually wrong being released?
Karma. I bumped a car in a parking lot. Dented it even. I freaked out. Tried to drive off. Went back, left my name and number. The lady called and said not to worry about it. That it was good karma. Until that point, I had no idea that American adults believed in karma.
Eating Breyer's chocolate ice cream while watching Buffy = good times.
Some times, I will fence one of my Sims in, but tend to freak out at the last minute and let them go before they die.
