Unfortunately I didn't really get more until ten years later when I saw Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

I honestly did not believe that I would be alive past college graduation. But if I was, I always knew that by the time I was 27 I would be married and either pregnant or had a baby.

Something Tragic

So, a professor took time out of his schedule to figure that today is the most depressing day of the year , has anyone bothered to figure out the happiest? I know that the most wonderful time of the year is Christmas. But, has a day been established when people are the happiest? Like, the spring equinox? Gosh, why do I feel like I only got two hours of sleep last night? I promise! I did not take any allergy meds, which usually put me to sleep after an hour. Maybe it’s my dreams? They keep my mind racing at night. Of course it didn’t help that the dump truck comes at 4:30 in the morning. Maybe it’s my glasses. Maybe it’s the fact that I am starting to go cross-eyed at work.

Sims game: so far I have three neighborhoods going. The first is a Magic/Buffy one. I have a group of witch sisters that I have made. All of them have their own house and are quite unique. I’ve just started on a bunch of Italian brothers that live in a house together. The only thing is I didn’t give them an Italian last name b/c I meant for them to marry the Alabastor sisters, and to have them take the witch’s last name. Kinda like a Charmed thing. I have quite a few characters from Buffy already. A household of vamps (Dru, Spike, Mel and Angelus), the Trio (Warren has already cast a spell on an evil woman that made her fall in love with him), Zander and Anya are in the sack all day, Willow & Tara just adopted their kitty cat! The next neighborhood is a DC neighborhood. So far the only thing there really is a Wandrakin campsite. It’s a really cool fort!!! Crazyness abounds around every corner! The last neighborhood that I have is a real-life neighborhood. It’s quite complicated since I’m trying to get all of the couples to meet "naturally". Except for one couple, and that’s because I wanted to make sure that they got their little boy, since the sex of the children is a wildcard! What would I look like with a french flip curl, reading a perfumed magazine? ‘CUZ IT’S A BITTERSWEET SYMPHONY!!!!

Mindless Oblivion

I’m starting to feel the weirdness again. Am I catching your butterflies Jenny? Oye. It’s a very FLIGHTY feeling. I can tell that much. I need to just float. Wow…my muscles are still sore from the 20 minute workout the other night. I’ve been getting more scratches too. I have one on my hand that really hurts when I have a band aid on it. Heheheh… and then G found one on my hip last night. He barely ran his finger over it and I felt like needles were piercing my skin. Then he did it again. Grrrr. Welcome to my accidental life. Good news!!! As of today, G and I have been together for TWO YEARS!!! GAH!!! Oof. Wave of weird closed-in, sick, flight feeling. What de heck? Phwew!!!

Nerves. Nerves are getting to me. I know that I am not depressed. I’ve done that route before, so this definitely is not depression. I’m wondering if I am suffering from SAD (seasonal defective disorder) or claustrophobia. Those are my two big things at this time. Feels like I’m going crazy. I kinda just spazzed out at work. I had to practically run to the window for some room. I’m getting spooked easily. A rapid heartbeat. I tried to start walking the other day. I think I will go again after work. I need to. Last night I found myself muttering "I need to get out of here." I’m not sure what I was talking about. I also discover that I argue that I do not snore, while I’m sleeping. With my eyes open!!! This is quite alarming. The whole "ghost in the machine" deal. Is it really me? Is something else trying to work its way out? Is that the real me? I’m a mess. Honestly. Woah...I just told my co-workers how i have been feeling. I openly shared my emotions!!! I have not done that since before Christmas break!

Have a Little Faith in Me

I must be unfaithful, or maybe I never follow thru enough for people. Maybe they don’t think that I have a high enough IQ, maybe I’m not trustworthy. I think this is the reason why I have stopped talking w/ people lately. A very trustworthy friend of mine claims that she has the same problem. She thinks that it has to be our "cuteness factor." "We are too cute so we must be deceptive." Over the last couple of years, since I met my husband, I have had a few different guys try to convince me that I am cute/datable. You’d think that getting married wouldn’t prove that? Anyway, I digress. Cuteness!!! Is this what most beautiful women go thru? Does anyone believe an attractive model/actress? Or is it the opposite for them, in that they are so beautiful that it doesn’t matter what they say to anyone, as long as they are giving their attention to someone? I doubt that anyone could give me an answer on this. I just need people to build their faith in me. I don’t know how to do that because I don’t know what I’m doing wrong to begin with. According to my husband, I am not unbelievable. Apparently I’m making this up, imagining it, or over-worrying. But what else do I call it when practically everyone I know doesn’t believe what I tell them, or trusts me to do stuff, and it feels like I have to work extra hard to convince them? Or when people start to talk over me, interrupt me, and/or tell me to shoosh! This last month I have started to say, "wait, I wasn’t finished talking!" I have gotten a few apologies for it. My opinion of an all-women environment: it’s like tying a bunch of cats tails together and leaving them in an enclosed room. That is why there is always so much kleenex and chocolate around.

i feel like i might crush something here.... i think one of the first things that i remember is going to the circus w/ my family and some of their friends. i remember the horrible smell. dark lighting. (even today my scariest dreams are the darkest. when i'm home alone ALL of the lights must be on.) i remember they brought out this unicorn that they had been advertising. i was so excited to see it. i didn't have glasses then, but even from the bleacher seats, i could still kinda tell that they dressed it up some. extra haid. maybe even the horn. i just remember feeling sorry for the poor thing. it looked trapped and scared as it was paraded around. everyone hollaring and applauding. i think i just stood there. mouth ajar. taking it all in. and realizing what an f*$ked up place it was and how no one really noticed. please comment w/ your earliest memory. according to VJ, and i believe i have heard/read this too, your first memory reflects your outlook on life.

There has been a lot of little chaos-ness. Think of it as a vacation to R'lyeh. All is on the way to getting better. Thank you for any prayers, meditations or well-wishing that went on out there in blogland. I will be blogging less during the day, but hopefully more at night. (Shhh! I’m trying to be more work-minded and only blog during lunch. It is currently tea time.) There will only be one Friday the 13th this year and it will occur in the lovely month of May. I feel gypped. Hee hee…gypped. I restocked my supply of honey at work, and have also made a station at www.radioblogclub.com. They only have five Weird Al songs that I have found. Some soundtracks. Eminem’s song "Mosh." More than enough Pet Shop Boys to make me happy. As well as a cover of a Hedwig and the Angry Inch song to make me happy. They also have Richard Cheese. :D I received an extensive reading list from a friend of mine. Someone actually whom I haven’t been seeing much lately. Like a lot of people. Still in some kind of hermit phase. She contends that that is what happens when a person gains an S.O. (significant other). Reminded me of Bridget Jones’s Smug Married. That was the title, right? I need to get that movie on dvd when it comes out. Oh! G’s birthday went well. We went out to an unexpected dinner. For his present, we ended up getting him a new monitor for his computer since his old one felt unloved and committed hara-kiri. There was no warning. No note. We are holding a wake in our living room until further arrangements can be made for both of our monitors. Nothing but rain for two weeks has kept my stress level in check. I think it bordered on overload last week. I really should have taken a mental health day. But, that is what this Monday is for. Hopefully this weekend will go well. :D We have some plans with friends, which includes preparations for DC. The new rules have come out (two years late) so we are going to go over them this weekend (joy oh joy). I plan on bringing something entertaining. I haven’t felt much like role-playing. Maybe a card game would be fun. I haven’t played Apples 2 Apples in forever!!! I hope that all of you enjoy the three day weekend. Be safe and merry. Maybe I will stop typing to dyslexic by Tuesday. A star is a beautiful memory. I still have not felt like talking. Talking with people, listening to people, I just don't really feel like it. Well, not at work I don't. I feel like it will always be the same old gripes & complaints. We tell each other what happened over Christmas, we give a little laugh, or a "wow! that sounds fun." And then we move on. I feel like I want to be at the moving on part. I don't feel very alive at work right now. By alive I think I mean, interactive. Yeah...interactive. I want to go there and get my work done. I've Got a Theory

Lovely. I ended the year with pirates. Guess it just shows what kind of woman I am. Still working on becoming the woman of my dreams. Did that translate right? Oye. Ve. Eh. Today was cookie day. Three batches. One of which was experimental, and I was informed later that they tasted really good. Yay!!! Now tomorrow I might attempt to make tiramisu. I also have to pass out the cookies I made, then make more pretzels for G. And Wal-mart. Gots to gets to Wal-mart before noon. I've been crocheting. Watched "Once More W/ Feeling" today. As well as Resident Evil: Apocolypse. I am expecting nightmares tonight. An overwelming amount of sadness came this afternoon at 2 when I realized that I had missed the Tournament of Roses parade. Every New Year's Day I make a point of getting up and watching it in the morning. I was too sad to watch the rerun on the HG channel. In other news...I started to make "Buffy" characters in one of the Sims neighborhoods. Very sad, but it gives me a goal. Yucky sore throat. I thought I was completely over being sick this morning, then I felt the yuckiness creep in. It's over 60 degrees here. And it's been raining. ::bliss:: But it did seem to bring the sirens out. :( I will attempt to go to work with a fresh and positive attitude...and working headphones. :D
