Albrecht Durer caught my eye when I was younger. The detail and intensity of his work was extraordinary. I think I will add a few artist biographies to my reading list this summer. I always keep meaning to read up on Rembrandt as well; in fact, I know that I have a couple of dusty bios on him somewhere, but never managed to get very far. Too much sneezing ruins a book.
