No Wife, No Life?

Gawd...this amuses me and makes me sick. Including all of the 'romantic' undertones.
Loris admits a brief marriage to an American woman didn't work out and that too often typical American women tend to be self-centered, taking for granted too many of the things they have. He said in meeting the wives of his Vietnamese friends, he found their temperament and demeanor a pleasant contrast. He felt in a Vietnamese woman he could find "someone who could work with me and not pull in a different direction, like too many American women do." He said he was introduced to several Vietnamese women who lived in Fort Smith, but came to believe he would be more compatible with a woman who lived in Vietnam and who was interested in coming to the U.S. to a life of greater freedom and opportunity.
