A girl began walking next to me and struck up a conversation as though we had known each other for some time.

"What color did you dye your hair?" she asked.
"Light reddish chestnut."
"Everyone seems to be dying their hair red."
"It's a good spring color." I look at her. She's wearing shorts and a t-shirt in 50 degree weather as the sun is setting. "Aren't you freezing?"
"No, we have a lot of changes during class down at the gym, so I'm kinda hot and the cold air feels nice."
"Ah. Okay, well have a good night."
"Bye."
